The class includes exploration of flexibility, coordination, balance and fall prevention and recovery practices through a variety of seated and, if the student is able to do so safely, standing movements. Each session includes seated and standing Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery!Moves focused on the main challenges of Parkinson’s disease. We include one or more short intervals of higher intensity training, as well as facial, vocal and hand exercises. The class is paced to the timing and needs of those with more advanced symptoms and responds to individual needs. We use music and each class session is unique.
